National Programs
Gentelmen by Choice
Given the direct correlation between education and status, it is appropriate that Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity has reestablished "Go To High School, Go To College" as a national program dedicated to improving the status of our young, African American males. Alpha men cannot solve all of the problems faced by these young men. We can, however, make a significant contribution. Since we have a wealth of experience and resources in our area chapters, we will call upon members from our local community and area chapters toimplement the program herein described. "Go To High School, Go To College" is a prime example of bold and creative new efforts designed to secure the knowledge of the past and move swiftly toward the future. Nu Iota, the college chapter at Rowan University in Glassboro and Nu Gamma Lambda, the alumni chapter in Gloucester County, have taken this challenge head on and have established "Gentlemen By Choice".
